Joely Richardson, born on January 9, 1965, in London, was immersed in the world of entertainment from a young age. As the daughter of renowned actress Vanessa Redgrave and director Tony Richardson, she was part of a family deeply rooted in British cinema. Initially, Richardson’s interests lay more in sports, particularly tennis, which she pursued at the Thacher School in California.
