Now 18 years old, Barron started his freshman year at New York University’s Stern School of Business in September 2024. He is said to be studying business and finance.
Currently, Barron lives at Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan and travels to his classes on campus.
His mother mentioned in an interview with Fox in September 2024 that it was Barron’s choice to study and live in New York, saying, “He wants to be in New York and study in New York and live in his home.”

Melania Trump is really focused on keeping an eye on her son, according to someone close to the family.
In December 2024, this insider shared with People that living in a college dorm isn’t the best option for Barron right now. “Melania believes it’s better to be close to him as much as she can,” they said.
Judy James, a body language expert, talked about Barron Trump and how he looked at his dad’s inauguration. She mentioned that now that he’s older, he seems to be “working as a sweeper.”
This means that he shows up and leaves with his parents, but instead of just trailing behind like he used to, he now takes time to shake hands and say polite things. James wrapped up by saying that this really shows who Barron is and his place without needing to compete with his dad.

One moment that really stood out was when Barron quickly spoke to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Body language expert Judy James said Barron “very confidently” and “charmingly” bent to shake hands with Biden.
Biden looked a bit surprised, almost like Barron had said something really serious, but really, Barron was just leaning in to say hi to Kamala. Biden’s expression was just showing that he had already finished saying hello to Trump’s son, according to James.
As everyone thought, people complimented Barron for being so polite, saying he was well-mannered and that his mom did a fantastic job raising him.
