When my new neighbor Shannon began sunbathing in tiny bikinis right outside my son Jake’s window, I kindly asked her to move. Instead of listening, she made fun of me and retaliated by putting a dirty toilet on my lawn with a sign that read, “FLUSH YOUR OPINION HERE!” I was really angry, but in the end, karma had its way.
Shannon was already a little strange, with her house painted in bright colors and her loud parties. Her sunbathing in front of Jake’s window became a regular annoyance. When I asked her to find another spot in her yard, she just laughed and ignored my request.
Then, two days later, the toilet showed up on my lawn. Shannon called it “art” and continued to mock me, but I stayed calm. I figured I would let karma handle the situation. Shannon’s behavior only got worse—her parties, karaoke, and drum circles disturbed the whole neighborhood, but I just smiled and waved.

One day, a firefighter came over because Shannon falsely reported a sewage leak. He quickly saw that the toilet was just a decoration, and Shannon got in trouble for wasting resources. After that, she put up a privacy fence and stopped sunbathing in front of Jake’s window.
Jake jokingly asked if it was safe to “come out of witness protection,” and I smiled, happy that the craziness was finally over.
