Pregnant bellies, in my opinion, are among the most beautiful sights in the world.
Many expectant parents capture the journey of the growing belly, creating lasting memories of the anticipation before the arrival of their little one.
However, when TikTok user Renae W shared her pregnancy journey and her unusually large belly on social media, she faced skepticism and even a doctor who expressed concern.

But Renae eventually proved her critics wrong when it was time to deliver…
All mothers can relate to the extraordinary and sometimes daunting sensation of feeling their baby move within their womb.
Pregnancy experiences vary widely. Some women may spend days bedridden, struggling to keep food down, while others maintain their usual routines and energy levels throughout.
Renae W, a mother from the U.S., became pregnant for the sixth time and stayed active, sharing updates on her growing belly via TikTok.

Initially, Renae posted about her recovery from addiction and her journey toward sobriety, but after becoming pregnant, she shifted the focus of her posts.
Her massive baby bump quickly attracted attention, leading to a significant following. While her early posts didn’t get much attention, as her belly grew, Renae’s videos went viral, and she gained millions of views. Many people speculated she was carrying multiple babies, with some suggesting she could be expecting as many as eight.

Despite these rumors, Renae insisted that there was only one baby in her belly.
“It’s just one. I’m sure,” she assured her followers in one video.
As a mother of four, Renae didn’t offer any medical explanation for her large belly, which led to even more speculation. Previously, conditions like polyhydramnios (excessive amniotic fluid) or gestational diabetes have been known to cause larger-than-usual baby bumps. But Renae reassured everyone that everything was fine with her pregnancy.
“I had an ultrasound recently, and everything looks normal. The baby is measuring a little ahead—about a week and four days,” she explained.

Still, Renae faced criticism, including from a doctor who expressed concern over her belly size. The medical professional seemed shocked by her belly and suggested that Renae should be worried.
Having previously experienced a miscarriage, Renae felt compelled to respond, particularly to the doctor’s comment. She felt the criticism was unwarranted, especially when both she and her baby were healthy.
“As a doctor, you should be ashamed of yourself for this video, especially when I’m not your patient,” Renae wrote in reply.

Renae attributed the appearance of her large belly to her shorter height, which made her stomach appear bigger.
When Renae gave birth to her previous son, he weighed 9lb 6oz. Despite this, many people still couldn’t believe there was only one baby in her enormous belly.
One person commented, “I swear there are at least four sets of twins in there.”
Another joked, “There’s a fully grown adult in there.”
One more person quipped, “He’s going to come out 30 years old with a credit score of 800.”

Renae gained 35 pounds during her pregnancy, and her followers eagerly watched as her belly expanded. When she posted a video at 37 weeks, it garnered 37 million views. Thankfully, some viewers defended Renae against the negativity.
“Every woman carries differently. Every pregnancy is unique!” one commenter said.
Another added, “I can’t believe he would even say that to you, knowing absolutely nothing about your pregnancy.”

On February 18, Renae put an end to the speculation by giving birth to her son via a scheduled C-section.
Her baby boy weighed 9lb 8oz and measured 22.5 inches long. He also inherited a “big head” from his father, measuring 15 inches around. Most importantly, Renae’s baby was born healthy.
“When your son comes out hand-first, looking like Superman flying,” she shared in February. “Yep, just one big, healthy baby boy.”
While Renae’s large belly caused some difficulties and challenges, she later admitted to missing her baby bump after her son’s birth, describing it as feeling “weird” not having it anymore.

Her followers were curious about her body post-birth. Eleven weeks after her C-section, Renae posted a video showing her belly and responded to critics who returned with negative comments.
“Five days after my C-section. The only weight I lost was the 9lb 8oz baby and another 5.5 pounds,” she explained.
“I don’t understand why people don’t get that everyone carries differently. I’m short, and I carry everything out front. I’ve been told I ruined my body and that my stretch marks would be terrible. The truth is, I don’t care because my body has blessed me with five amazing kids and an angel baby. I love my body and everything it’s done.”

Renae also posted videos showing her holding her precious newborn and joking about the size of her belly.
“When people ask why I was so big with just one baby. I’m wondering how he even had room to move in there,” she wrote.
