Lidl made the announcement just days after Coca-Cola announced the return of its own truck
Holidays are approaching, holidays are approaching, holidays are approaching… you can hear the tune in your head, can’t you?
The Coca-Cola Christmas advertisement serves as the official announcement that the festive season has arrived. This year, Coca-Cola is reviving its iconic truck tour, but there’s a twist—competition is on the rise!
Lidl is launching its own vibrant red Christmas cola truck, and they’ve revealed the locations and dates it will be touring across the UK.
Just when we believed the Aldi and M&S caterpillar cake rivalry was the highlight, this new cola truck face-off is truly taking center stage!
I mean, fair play to be honest. (LIDL)
Lidl is hitting the road with its own Freeway cola truck, visiting nine cities starting next week.
The supermarket will distribute over 2,000 gift boxes, delicious food samples, and other treats at each location.
If you visit, you can also express your Christmas wish, and Lidl may grant some of them. Just be sure to keep your requests practical—no asking for a Tesla or a luxurious new home!
Joanna Gomer, Marketing Director at Lidl GB, stated, “Giving back to the communities we serve is very important to us, and our new Freeway truck allows us to connect with them this year.
“By visiting nine different locations, we’ll use our large truck to hand out gift boxes, offer festive food, and fulfill wishes that can bring joy to people.
“Watch for the Freeway truck on its journey, and most importantly, come join the celebration!”
