King Charles reportedly delays Princess Lilibet’s 3rd birthday gift until family rift is over, says expert

The conflict among the royal family is still happening, and it really impacts King Charles’ bond with his grandkids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. They got their royal titles after their great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, passed away.

The king often spends time with Prince William’s kids, but he hasn’t had the chance to connect with Harry’s children at all.

According to the Mirror, Charles has talked about the possibility of visiting Harry and his family in the United States sometime later on.

Royal expert Tom Quinn told the newspaper, “If it happens, he would definitely make time to see his youngest son and grandchildren. However, there are a lot of planning challenges to deal with before that can even be considered a possibility.”

The royal expert mentioned that he might quietly go to California to see Harry and the kids. He really wants to visit them because he doesn’t like the thought of Archie and Lily forgetting him as the kind and loving grandfather he wishes to be.

The King meeting Archie and Lili in Britain is still a hot topic because their mom, Meghan Markle, has been really clear about not wanting her kids to go to their dad’s home country because of safety concerns.

When she and Harry left their royal roles, they lost their royal security in the UK, which is paid for by taxpayers, since they are no longer part of the working royals.

Lilibet Diana had her 3rd birthday party on June 4th. The celebration took place at Harry and Meghan’s house in Montecito, California. Many famous people showed up, including Orlando Bloom, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Oprah Winfrey. However, no one from the British royal family was there to join in the fun with Lili.

King Charles wasn’t able to attend his granddaughter’s birthday party, but he still sent her his best wishes and a present, according to the Mirror.

“King Charles had no intention of completely ignoring Lilibet’s birthday, so he has sent a gift along with a message,” royal expert Tom Quinn told the paper.

Further, Quinn claimed that the monarch has another gift for Lili, a more significant one, but he’s waiting for the family feud to be resolved before giving it to her.

He made a really nice wooden swing for Prince George, and it even has George’s name carved into it! He wants to make something like that for Lilibet too, but not this year. He said he’ll wait until the family drama settles down first, Quinn explained.

Quinn said that the reason no royals showed up at the birthday party was that they never got any invitations.

One of Harry’s close friends shared why Harry chose not to invite any of his family to the event. “Harry realized they probably wouldn’t show up, and deep down, he didn’t really want them there. But it makes him really upset that Archie and Lilibet can’t have a relationship with their cousins while he’s still in conflict with his family,” the friend said.

We truly hope that the royals would be able to make amends in the time to come.
