Elon Musk issues 5-word response to Mike Myers’ ‘brutal’ impression of him on SNL during Trump Zelenskyy skit

Looks like he’s not a fan of Myers

Mike Myers seems to have made a big mistake by impersonating Elon Musk, and it didn’t go over well with the billionaire. Recently, things have been pretty crazy in Washington, especially after a tough meeting between President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

When Zelenskyy visited the White House, the atmosphere was tense, especially when Vice President JD Vance told him to thank Trump for the help he got.

There were some intense arguments about what Zelenskyy was wearing, accusations that he disrespected Vance, and everything just got out of hand.

Even though Elon Musk wasn’t there, he got dragged into the mess when Myers did a funny sketch about the whole situation on Saturday Night Live.

James Austin Johnson did an awesome impression of Trump, and then Myers Musk came in with a chainsaw to crack jokes about his experience at the Conservative Political Action Conference. He talked about how the President of Argentina, Javier Milei, gave him a cool chainsaw.

While making fun of Musk’s role as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency, he joked about the recent job cuts in the government and the rise in plane crashes, saying, “We might not get everything perfect, but we’re letting go of the non-essential workers like air traffic controllers.”

“And sure, some planes might land upside down. But don’t worry, the luggage will land right in your lap, and you’ll be good to go!”

Bowen Yang also showed up as Vance and told Mikey Day’s Zelenskyy, “You haven’t said thank you for the last 15 seconds while I’ve been yelling at you.”

SNL’s cold open honored the real-life meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy, where the President said, “You’re not in a good position. You don’t have the cards right now with us.”

Zelenskyy replied, “I’m not playing cards right now; I’m very serious, Mr. President. I am a wartime president.”

Trump joked on SNL, saying, “I have ‘skip.’ I have ‘draw four.’ I have ‘reverse.’ I have ‘get out of jail free’ — the Supreme Court gave me that one.”

Myers’ Musk wore a ‘Tech Support’ t-shirt, which was a throwback to the outfit he had on during Trump’s first cabinet press conference. That meeting was super awkward, and Trump even joked about firing anyone who didn’t think Musk was doing a great job.

Dana Carvey had played Musk on SNL before, but Musk didn’t like it. In November 2024, he posted on X, saying, “Dana Carvey just sounds like Dana Carvey.”

Musk seems to feel the same way about Myers’ impression, stating, “Humor fails when it lies.”

Others shared Musk’s opinion, with one person commenting, “I wouldn’t call this ‘funny,’ but Myers’s Musk impression is really brutal.”

Another person added, “Yeah! The talent has been lacking at SNL these past few years. It’s more like SNUZ. Maybe it’s because of DEI.”

Someone else made fun of the whole situation, saying, “This is exactly what happened in the White House. And yes, this is not funny – it’s a shame for the US to have such people in power.”
