After Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 presidential election, Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, made the decision to leave the United States and relocate to the Cotswolds, England.
The couple purchased an $18 million estate, following the sale of their California property for $29.9 million. They also sold their two-bedroom bungalow in Montecito for $5.2 million, after receiving numerous offers.
Their relocation to England has had its hurdles, including issues with flooding and construction complaints. However, they have now found a new property they are fond of after visiting it multiple times, in search of a home similar to their former California residence.
