Amber Heard took to Instagram to reveal the joyful news that she has welcomed twins, expanding what she affectionately calls the “Heard gang.”
On May 11—fittingly Mother’s Day—the Aquaman actress announced the birth of her two new children.
The 39-year-old is already mother to her daughter, Oonagh Paige, who was born on April 8, 2021.
In her Instagram post, Heard shared a sweet photo showing her newborns’ feet and wrote:
“Mother’s Day 2025 will always hold a special place in my heart.
“This year, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and joy as I celebrate the family I’ve spent years dreaming of building.
“I’m so happy to share that my twins have officially joined the Heard gang.”
She continued, “My daughter Agnes and son Ocean have completely filled my arms—and my heart.
“When Oonagh came into my life four years ago, everything changed. I thought I had reached the peak of happiness. But now, that joy has multiplied by three!
“Becoming a mother on my own, after facing fertility hurdles, has been the most humbling journey. I’m deeply thankful to have made this choice thoughtfully and with intention.
“To every mom out there, no matter your path, my dream family and I are celebrating alongside you today. With love always, A x.”
The heartwarming announcement was followed by a statement from Heard’s spokesperson.
Speaking to People, the spokesperson said, “Amber is overjoyed to welcome her twins and feels her family is now complete.

“She and the babies are thriving, and Oonagh has embraced her role as big sister with enthusiasm.”
These new additions arrive years after Heard first shared her decision to become a parent independently.
Back in 2021, when announcing Oonagh’s birth via surrogate, she posted that she had made the choice to become a parent four years earlier.
“I wanted to do it my way,” she wrote at the time. “Now I understand how empowering it is for women to take control of such an essential part of our lives. My hope is that society moves to a place where starting a family without needing a marriage license is no longer seen as unusual.
“While a part of me wants to keep my personal life private, I also recognize that my career means sometimes I need to take the narrative into my own hands.”
