Right now, Madonna is on her exciting Celebration Tour after getting better from a serious bacterial infection that put her in the hospital earlier this year.
Recent photos of the “Like a Virgin” star have received a lot of love from her fans, showing that at 65, she’s still proving that age doesn’t matter and she’s not done making waves in the music world.
Fans were really worried when she was suddenly hospitalized last summer.
At first, the news was pretty concerning, but it turned out her health issue was more serious than everyone thought.
The Queen of Pop was supposed to kick off her much-awaited Celebration Tour in Vancouver on July 15, where she planned to perform her greatest hits from 1983 to now in 53 shows across North America and Europe. Unfortunately, she had to delay it after being rushed to the hospital with that infection.
On Saturday, June 24, reports came out that Madonna was found unresponsive and was taken to a hospital in New York City, where she had to be intubated.
Soon after, a family member of the famous singer shared with Entertainment Tonight that her family was getting ready for the worst news. They mentioned, “For the last few days, no one really knew how things would turn out, and her family was preparing for the worst.”
They also explained, “That’s why it was kept quiet since Saturday. Everyone thought we might lose her, and that was the reality we were facing.”
Radar Online has shared that Madonna’s hospital visit was more serious than people first thought. Doctors who helped the unresponsive singer at her apartment had to give her a NARCAN injection to help her.
Luckily, she was later released from the hospital and is now recovering at home. Her Celebration Tour is going strong, and the Vogue star is getting a lot of praise for her looks after posting several photos from the tour.
Reports say that the Paris leg of Madonna’s tour really stood out, with fans giving her tons of compliments. One fan even called her “the most beautiful woman in the world.”
