Woman Snaps Picture Of Father With Daughter But The Police Are Called When It Is Posted Online

People will always argue about different topics, and sometimes, certain issues spark more debates than others. Parenting seems to be one of those hot topics.

Parents have the job of taking care of their kids, and sometimes that means they need to discipline them. There are different ways to discipline, but occasionally, a parent might go too far.

At a Walmart in Cleveland, someone took a photo and posted it online showing a man holding his daughter’s hair and attaching it to the shopping cart. People were really angry, the police were called, and now they are looking into it.

Erika and Robert Burch were at Walmart when they witnessed the event unfold. She described it as a man pulling a little girl by her hair while the child was begging: “Please stop. I promise I won’t do it again. Please stop!”

Feeling brave, Erika took out her phone and started snapping pictures of the man and the girl. She even confronted him, telling him to let go of the girl’s hair. He replied, “No, you should mind your own business.”

Her husband, Robert Burch, was shocked and said, “He dragged that baby around the store.”

Ora Schumann was also shopping at Walmart and saw what happened. She mentioned that the man looked angry because the girl wasn’t close enough to the shopping cart. She said he then grabbed her by the hair, pulled her toward the cart, and scolded her. The little girl apologized, saying she wouldn’t do it again.

Erika Burch quickly contacted the police because she was worried about the child’s safety. The police chief in Cleveland, Darrell Broussard, shared his concerns too and mentioned that they are collaborating with Child Protective Services as they look into the matter.

Child Protective Services stated that they are examining the home to find out if other kids are affected and checking if this shows a repeated behavior.

After the photos were shared on Facebook, they became very popular, and many people have reacted to them.

So far, no charges have been made, but the investigation is still in progress.
