Celebrities are always in the public eye and often receive comments about anything and everything they do. From the clothes they are wearing to who they choose to marry, anything is fair game for a comment.
And it seems even their parenting is sometimes called into question. Keep reading to know more.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, and Kim Kardashian’s daughter with her ex-husband Kanye West, North West, were born around the same period. Both girls share a commonality: they have extremely famous parents, which has unintentionally thrust them into the public eye since their births.
Recently, comparisons between the two girls have emerged. A video juxtaposing them has gone viral, amassing over 7 million views. In this video, Blue Ivy is depicted with her natural appearance, while images of North West’s Halloween costume are showcased, featuring blue hair, facial tattoos, blackened teeth, and piercings.
The caption stated, “Two children born into fame. One is raised by both parents, while the other is raised by a single mother. The differences are evident. Broken families produce broken children who ultimately become broken adults.”
However, many individuals were quick to express their discontent with the insensitive caption. One commenter highlighted that a picture of North’s Halloween costume was utilized, remarking, “It was a Halloween costume. You all are reaching.” Another person added, “Different individuals possess different personalities,” in an effort to quell the debate that was pitting the girls against each other.
Additionally, another commenter noted, “Children raised in two-parent households can also become broken, just as those raised in single-parent households can turn out perfectly fine.”
Conversely, some individuals proceeded to critique Kim Kardashian’s parenting. One remarked, “You can discern who has healthy parents,” while another stated, “When there is no father present in the household, that is what you observe.”
Lastly, a warning was issued to remind commenters that they were discussing children’s appearances, stating, “Those making negative comments should keep in mind that these are children. They are entitled to play with makeup, have tattoos, and imitate anyone; they are merely kids.”
It seems people have very strong opinions on the topic of celebrity parenting. What do you think? Let us know in the comment section on Facebook.
