Since Inauguration Day, Melania Trump has mostly stayed out of the public eye, with a few notable exceptions like her trip to Los Angeles during the wildfires. She mentioned that her second term as First Lady will be different because she won’t be living in Washington all the time. Instead, she wants to focus on her family, especially their son Barron, who is now in college in New York. Melania is more interested in her personal projects and being a mom than in the usual duties of a First Lady.
One of her big projects is a documentary about her life, which started filming in late 2024 and is set to come out in 2025. She said the documentary will show her everyday life, including the difficulties of moving into the White House. Melania has also made it clear that she values her independence; while she supports her husband, she has her own views and doesn’t always agree with him.
Besides the documentary, Melania is working on expanding her Be Best campaign, which helps kids deal with bullying. There are also rumors that she is encouraging her husband to eat healthier. Although she has kept a low profile, she is gradually making her way back to public events, like the Governors Ball.
