Holly Madison, aged 45, was in a relationship with Hugh Hefner for a period. The former Playboy model recently appeared on a podcast hosted by Owen Thiele, where she candidly discussed her personal life.
She openly talked about her intimate experiences with the late Playboy founder, stating, “Well, it’s a very different story between when we were just by ourselves than with everybody else in the room.”
“Everybody else in the room, no,” she elaborated, indicating her lack of enjoyment regarding group sex. She recounted how she expressed her discomfort, saying, “That was disgusting. I hated it. I made it very known I hated it.”
Additionally, she addressed the 53-year age difference between herself and Hefner, noting that it did not affect their intimate life. She remarked, “If it was just me and him, it was a lot more normal than you would think.” Hefner passed away in 2017 at the age of 91.
Podcast host Thiele voiced his skepticism about the possibility of their relationship being ‘normal’ given the significant age difference. Madison replied, “Nobody does.”
“There was a time when I couldn’t post anything [on social media] without some dumba– in the comments [being] like, ‘Oh, old balls,’” she stated. “Maybe some people’s balls do get old and nasty, but I’ve never seen such a thing,” she added.
She also noted that during their intimate moments, she and Hefner always kept the lights off.
“There is a saying that goes, ‘All cats are gray in the dark,’ ” she humorously remarked.
Madison and Hefner were in a relationship from 2001 until 2008. She has previously expressed feeling compelled to engage in group sex with Hefner.
Additionally, she has recounted some peculiar occurrences she witnessed during her time at the mansion. She mentioned, “They had trays placed everywhere, in every bathroom, on the tennis courts, by the pool, and these trays contained Kleenex, Pepto Bismol, Vaseline, baby oil, sunscreen — essentially any type of makeshift lubricant.” The Playboy model continued, “It was strange.”
“My experiences that highlighted the negative aspects are more connected to the relationship and the dynamics within it, both with Hef and some of the other women,” Madison stated.
She made it clear that she did not dislike the job itself, asserting, “I absolutely enjoyed posing for the magazine. I have always been a fan of the pictorials. I always aspired to be in Playboy. I even spent a couple of years working at the studio producing the playmate pictorials, which was an incredibly enjoyable experience. Therefore, it is quite complex for me.”
