When people hear the word “addiction,” they usually picture someone struggling with drugs or alcohol. While that’s a common type of addiction, there are many other things that people can become addicted to.
A great example of a different kind of addiction is Tristan Weigelt, who is 26 years old. He works as a tattoo apprentice and has so many tattoos that almost all of his skin is covered in ink!
He recently talked about how he looked five years ago, before he started getting all the work done. When you compare his appearance from 2020 to 2022, it really shows how much can change in just a couple of years.
Now that he has covered 95% of his body with tattoos, he reflects on it and feels no regrets. He finds it a bit odd to see himself with all the tattoos, but he also says that inside, he feels just the same as he did before.
He shared some details about the tattoos that hurt the most, mentioning that the ones on his face and head were the toughest. He described the pain as being like getting scraped with a metal brush.
He explained that the process took six full days, with each session lasting between five and six hours, and he rated the pain as an eight out of ten.
You might think that every tattoo on his body has a deep meaning, but he clarified that there are no secret messages in his body art. Instead, he has spent around $50,000 on tattoos over the last five years.
He also shared some tips for anyone thinking about getting a tattoo. He advised, “Choose something you love and that makes sense to you. I see so many people stressing about whether a tattoo will suit them or if it fits their style. If you like it, just go for it.”
When it comes to changes, I’d say he stands out all on his own.
