Woman’s Facebook post goes viral after running out of gas after work

A woman from Port Arthur, Texas, recently shared a Facebook post that quickly gained a lot of attention. In her post, she talks about how she ran out of gas while driving home from work and ended up stuck on a busy road with cars and trucks zooming past her.

She mentioned that several drivers honked their horns as she tried to push her car along the road. But then, things took a positive turn when a group of soldiers and a generous stranger noticed her situation. Check out her post below.

I just ran out of gas after leaving my job at Savannah and 25th Street. When the light changed, my car just stopped. I got out and started to push it, but nobody stopped to help me. Trucks zoomed past, and some people even honked at me while they saw me struggling. Out of nowhere, a group of army guys showed up and helped me push my car all the way from the Motiva Terminal Gate to the Citgo station on Gulfway Drive.

Can you believe it? They literally pushed my car with their own strength! When we finally got there, I asked if I could take a picture of them to show that there are still good young men who help others in need. They agreed. At the gas station, a man jumped out of his truck, took out a $100 bill, and wanted to give it to the soldiers for a meal.

But they all said, “No, sir, we can’t accept that. We were just doing what we were taught.” Then, this same guy filled my car with gas and told me to keep the money I had. It’s amazing how, when you have faith, no matter what challenges you face, there’s always help around the corner. I’m so grateful to all of them from the bottom of my heart.
